The dark....it swallows you whole, leaving no mercy
to those who handed out sick smiles instead of hands. Laughing when one asks for help or cries innocent.
, for it takes no magician to uncover the truth. You thought you'd end up somewhere
before you ended up In a black abyss.

This isn't the type of love that deserves poetry by CrumbledWings, literature

This isn't the type of love that deserves poetry
This isn't the type of love
that deserves poetry,
Its love
born out of an inability
to survive alone,
Its affection
born from a necessity
to believe in a lie
I'll continue to whisper
in your ear each night.
"I'll protect you"...
A lie neither of us believe
and neither of us dispute
for fear of losing our only tether
to this decrepit existence
that we both fear so much...
this love isn't romantic
nor is it confrontational
its not comforting
nor is it disturbing,
It's merely there
sinking beside us
in the sea of life ,
that's gently drowning us,
reminding us
that together
we can almost breathe.

We need more female CEO’s and political leaders,
But not more women in…
Forestry, sewage, or mining,
Truck driving, or taxi driving,
Or garbage collection,
Or more men on magazine covers,
Or higher-paid male models,
Or fewer men dying on the job,
Or fewer men dying in wars,
Or
